Hidden by P..C. Cast and Kristin Cast

Hidden book 10 of A House of Night Novel by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

About the book
The House of Night series is an international phenomenon, reaching #1 on U.S., German, and UK bestseller lists, and remaining a fixture on the New York Times Children's Series bestseller list for more than 140 weeks and counting. With nearly 12 million copies in print, rights sold in thirty-eight countries to date, and relatable, addictive characters, this series is unstoppable. Now in Hidden, the tenth installment of the series, the stakes are higher than ever before.
Neferet's true nature has been revealed to the Vampyre High Council, so Zoey and the gang might finally get some help in defending themselves and their beloved school against a gathering evil that grows stronger every day. And they'll need it, because Neferet's not going down without a fight. Chaos reigns at the House of Night.

My thoughts about this book

This book is pretty good. It did take me a little bit to read it but that was because of my busy life and reading books for paid reviews lol. I love how in this book Zoey realizes she can not keep being the school girl, that she needs to grow up and be the high priestess that her goddess wants her to be. It made me a little sad to see that she is basically losing a friend to the dark side but  gains another though. Zoey has a good heart and I really think that she is learning that good will always beats evil back. It may not be forever but it beats it back. I am also glad to see that Kalona is realizing that to get back into his goddess grace that he must show that he is changing and helps Zoey and her friends. I love seeing Damien is moving on but knows that his beloved will come back to him one day.

Yes I would recommend this book to everyone.

Happy Reading.

Circulus de Potentia (Magicae Mathematica Book 2) by Jim West

Circulus de Potentia (Magicae Mathematica Book 2 ) by Jim West

About the book
A festival in Nosaj’s honor has been interrupted by a mysterious challenger wearing the Circulus de Potentia, a band of gold that gives him unstoppable strength and power. One by one the Guardians fall and a race is on for Alex to go find the wizard with a secret regarding the curious symbol on the golden band. Finding this peculiar wizard named Pythagoras wouldn't be such a daunting task if it wasn't for the packs of wolves that roam the forest and a maze she and her friends will have to solve as well as a riddle fashioned by Daedalus himself. What awaits Alex in the Forest of Factors? Can Archimedes solve the equation in time? Can the Guardians stop this invincible challenger?

A symbol unknown, a riddle unsolved, a maze guarded by a monster, a race against time to find the secrets of the Circulus de Potentia and the most precious thing in the world.

My thoughts on the book.

I really love this book. It is very good. I felt like I was part of the book. I felt like I was going a long with Alex and her friends on their journey to find Pythagoras. I wish I had had these books when I was younger, it may have helped me learn math a little better or at least gave me a good read. Yes I will recommend this book to everyone and their kids. But please keep in mind that this book has fighting in it (it doesnt give much details of fights but it does give some) so if you do not want your kids to read any books with fighting in it no matter how much it has then this is not a book for them. If you are okay with the fighting parts then let them read these books. They are really good and who knows it may help them do better in math or least give them a little bit more understanding of math.

Happy reading.

Diver Creed Station by Oliver Phipps

Diver Creed Station by Oliver Phipps

About the book
Wars, disease and a massive collapse of civilization have ravaged the human race of a hundred years in the future. Finally in the late twenty- second century, mankind slowly begins to struggle back from the edge of extinction.

When a huge “virtual life” facility is restored from a hibernation type of storage and slowly brought back online, a new hope materializes.

Fragments of humanity begin to move into the remnants of Denver and the Virtua-Gauge facilities, which offer seven days of virtual leisure for seven days work in this new and growing social structure.

Most inhabitants of this new lifestyle begin to hate the real world and work for the seven day period inside the virtual pods. It’s the variety of luxury role play inside the virtual zone that supply’s the incentive needed to work hard for seven days in the real world.

In this new social structure a man can work for seven days in a food dispersal unit and earn seven days as a twenty first century software billionaire in the virtual zone. As time goes by and more of the virtual pods are brought back online life appears to be getting better.

Rizette and her husband Oray are young technicians that settle into their still new marriage as the virtual facilities expand and thrive.

Oray has recently attained the level of a Class A Diver and enjoys his job. The Divers are skilled technicians that perform critical repairs to the complex system, from inside the virtual zone.

His title of Diver originates from often working in the secure "lower levels" of the system. These lower level areas are the dividing space between the real world and the world of the virtual zone. When the facility was built, the original designers of the virtual system intentionally placed this buffer zone in the programs to avoid threats from non-living virtual personnel.

As Oray becomes more experienced in his elite technical position as a Diver, he is approached by his virtual assistant and forced to make a difficult decision. Oray's decision triggers events that soon pull him and his wife Rizette into a deadly quest for survival.

The stage becomes a massive and complex maze of virtual world sequences as escape or entrapment hang on precious threads of information.

System ghosts from the distant past intermingle with mysterious factions that have thrown Oray and Rizette into a cyberspace trap with little hope for survival.

My thoughts about the book.

I really loved this book. Right from the beginning I felt like I was one of the characters in the book. I went a long with Oray and Rizette as they are trapped in the cyberspace world and their search of finding a way out.  The author Oliver Phipps really is a good writer in that he draws you in and makes you feel like one of the characters.

Yes I am recommending you go and pick this book to read. It is a really good good book.

Happy reading

Instant speed reading: how to read faster instantly by the instant series

About the book

How fast can you read? Not very fast, right? Or at least not as fast as you would like...otherwise you wouldn't be reading this?

Now how about if you can increase your reading speed by 5, or even 10times faster than you read now...guarantee?

My thoughts about the book

I really don't know if it has helped me read faster or not. As in some ways I am already a fast reader. The helpful techniques may help others to learn how to read faster.

Like one helpful technique that is used in this book is called group of 5 and I pretty much already do this. I also use my finger to as I read. When using your finger to read does help you read faster.

Do I think this book is helpful, yes I do think it may help others.

Happy reading.

The time table: the stoves trilogy by NJ Rayner

About the book

There’s something weird going on deep in the London Underground.
Down in the subterranean labyrinths of long abandoned tunnels, ventilation shafts and disused stations, strange creatures are engaged in pointless battles of stupidity in their dark hidden world.
And the discovery of a stone table with amazing powers will only make things worse, as with staggering incompetence, the rival gangs fight to gain control of it.
But who will be the victors? Which of them will gain control of the table? Will they have a clue what to do with it? And in the process, how much longer will they be able to keep their existence a secret?
Could the world below ground, and the world above ground, be well on course for an unpredictable collision?

My thoughts about the book

This is a okay book. I couldn't figure out who the main character was but it was still a okay book. I think it is a good book for a pre teen or young teenager that is if you don't mind them reading a book with fighting in it

Happy reading

Titanic: Newly Discovered Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Holy Ghost Writer

Titanic: Newly Discovered Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Holy Ghost Writer

About the book

Was the Titanic tragedy really an accident? Could it be that a secret society was behind its sinking?

Put Sherlock Holmes on the case together with Monte Cristo's love interests and you find something like The Great Gatsby aboard Murder on the Orient Express.

This newly discovered Titanic story is a mixture of the real titanic facts merged with a romantic, action, adventure mystery.

My thoughts about this book

I really like this book a lot. I love how the writer brings history in his or her story. I love how he or she uses actual people instead of using all made characters in the whole story.

There is some fighting in the book and a little sex scene but not very detailed on it but if you do not want your kids to read this like this then this is not a book for you or them but if you do not mind then you need to go to amazon and buy this book as it is a really good book.

So yes I would recommend this book to everyone.
