The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter ( alittle bit of spoiler alert)

The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter

about the book

I thought I had nothing left to give.
I thought wrong.
They started the war.
Now I will end it.
Alice "Ali" Bell thinks the worst is behind her. She's ready to take the next step with boyfriend Cole Holland, the leader of the zombie slayers…until Anima Industries, the agency controlling the zombies, launches a sneak attack, killing four of her friends. It's then she realizes that humans can be more dangerous than monsters…and the worst has only begun.
As secrets that may tear Ali and Cole apart come to light, and more slayers are taken or killed, Ali will fight harder than ever to bring down Anima—even sacrificing her own life for those she loves.

my thoughts on the book

1. Did you get lost in the book?

Yes and No. I did get in the book that is when my daughter would let me, so that makes it a yes and no haha. Ms Gena Showalter knows how to pull her readers into the story. ( I advice if you are going to read this book make sure you can read without someone distracting you.

2. Was the character development intriguing?

Oh my yes, I was so intrigued with Ali and her friends that I could not wait for the next page, the next chapter to see what would happen next.

3. Did you care about the characters?

Yes I did, (spoiler alert here) I cried when Ali would lose a friend and when she lost a friend that was the closets to her I almost threw the book across the room.

4. What is your favorite quote from the book?
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I have five fingers and one is for you

5. Why was it your favorite quote?

It is just so catchy and so right for lots of things lol.

6. Was there anything you disliked about the book?

All the losses that Ali went though

7. Were you engaged immediately, or did it take you a while to "get into it"?

Yes I was, wish I had had more time to finish it sooner then what I did.

8. Would you recommend this book to others?

Yes and I already have to some of my friends looking for book ideas to read to.

9. Is there a lot of material in the book that would not be good for kids to ?

Just depends on their age and what you as a parent would let them read. I dont think it would be good for kids under 16 to read. There is alot fighting in it and a lot of references to sex in it also so be on a look out for that if you are looking at it for your kids to read.

10.  Where did you buy it at?

I bought this one at books a million, but you can find it at amazon, kindle, barnes and noble,  and etc.

I hope you like my review and go pick this book up today to read it. It is a really good read

Happy Reading.
