i think i will first say i love love love this book. (and the movie to lol) hunger games is about 24 teenagers from 12 to like 18 goes into this arena type to battle it out. 24 goes in and only one is suppose to come out alive. in hunger games you are introduce to katniss and peeta they both are in the hunger games and i guess you say from the same town but in different areas of the town. katniss is what i guess you can say the poor side of the town and peeta. katniss's father is killed when the mine he worked exploded so she takes over with getting food for her, her sister, and her mother. and peeta is the son of a baker. the both go to this game and not knowing really if they just said good bye to their families for the last time.
i really dont want to give to much away if you havent read the book so i think that is all i will say about it. i really do think this is a good book to read and good for a teenager to.
