Scarlet The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
about the book
Cinder is back and trying to break out of prison―even though she'll
be the Commonwealth's most wanted fugitive if she does―in this second
installment from Marissa Meyer.
Halfway around the world, Scarlet
Benoit's grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things
Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother, or the grave danger she has
lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter
who may have information as to her grandmother's whereabouts, she is
loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he
to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another
when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the
vicious Lunar Queen Levana.
my thoughts on the book
This is a really good book to read. I had started to read it back in July but as my daughter would not let me read it everytime I picked it I never did finish it until yesterday. Yesterday while my husband was home I picked the book up and did not put it down until I had it read completely. Which I think when I picked it up to read I had like 300 something pages to read and I finished it last night about 8:30 or 9:00 one. I really do think it is a good book.
I loved how I was pulled into the book so much that I felt like I was Scarlet and then Cinder. I felt like when Scarlet was searching for her grandmother I was right there with her. I was right there with her when she meet Wolf. I imaged that he kind of looked like my husband (but that is only because I never can image what another guy looks like as I always see my husband and he is the only one I want to image lol ) I felt like I was going right a long with Cinder as she tries to find answers.
Yes, I am recommending this book to you all to read. Go now and pick it up. Go pick it up at target or buy it on amazon. You will be happy that you read it. That is if you like books like this.
Now I am off to try to read another. Happy Reading
