Libellus de Numeros ((Magicae Mathematica Book 1) by Jim West
about the book
What is the missing variable?
Alex, a young precocious girl, mysteriously gets transported to a
strange world where Latin and Math combine in formulas and equations
with magical effects. With a cruel council leading the only safe city of
its kind in this world, she will have to prove her worth to stay as
well as help this city as it is the target for two evil wizards who seek
to destroy the city and its ruling council.
Will the council's mighty army of guardians be enough to repel the onslaught of the two wizards' wrath?
To help the city and also get back home, she will need the help of
the greatest mathematician of all time, Archimedes. In a world where
math is magic, Alex wishes she paid more attention in math class.
my thoughts on the book
This book is a five stars book in my opinion. It is really good book to read and I really do think it is a good book for young kids to read. To follow the young girl named Alex into a world of the unknown and her trying to learn magic thru math to find her way home is a really good journey to follow. Yes I will recommend this book to everyone of you and have you have kids it would be good for them to read also.
Happy Reading
People are always asking me what I am reading and then asking what it is about. So I thought I would start a blog on the different books that I read. I mostly read romance novels but I have been trying to expand my reading material so that way I am not getting bored with one type of books. I hope you enjoy my blog and that it helps you in deciding on if you want to read a sort book or not. And if you have any suggestions for me to read feel free to leave a comment somewhere. Happy reading
