Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
About the book
"In the zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic America where Benny Imura
lives, every teenager must find a job by the time they turn fifteen or
get their rations cut in half. Benny doesn't want to apprentice as a
zombie hunter with his boring older brother Tom, but he has no choice.
He expects a tedious job whacking zoms for cash, but what he gets is a
vocation that will teach him what it means to be human. As his worldview is challenged again and again by the lessons he learns from Tom, Benny is forced to confront another horrifying reality: Sometimes the most terrible monsters are human. "
My thoughts on the book
This is a really good book. The things that Benny and his friends and family goes thru is sad and they learn so much. If you really think about it in some ways we all go thru hardships and it just show that no matter the time or place bad things can happen. It is kind of like a good lesson to learn. Yes I know it is a fiction book but if you think about things happen everyday and I think some authors brings that into their writing and it makes it a good book.
