The Scorch Trails by James Dashner
about the book
Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isnt done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.
THERE ARE NO RULES. THERE IS NO HELP. YOU EITHER MAKE IT OR YOU DIE.
The Gladers has two week to cross the Scorch--the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has been sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off.
There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers' destruction---and they're determined to survive.
My thoughts about the book.
1. Did you get lost in the book?
Yes I did, even though I have seen the movie this book was so different from the movie. I do have to say that the book is better then movie. So much better.
2. Was the character development intriguing?
Yes it was and the added characters was also intriguing.
3. Did you care about the characters?
Yes I did. I really hated Teresa in the book and did not care to much for Aris(he is one of the new characters)
4. What is your favorite quote from the book?
I have to say my all time favorite quote from this book would be a line from one of the cranks
(" Rose took my nose, I suppose," he repeated; the bubble of phlegm in his throat made a disgusting crackle."And it really blows." ) that made me laugh so much lol
5. Why was it your favorite quote?
It was just very funny and was a good idea to have something a little funny in the book to take away from the sad parts.
6. Was there is anything you disliked about the book?
Yes the sad parts. The parts where friends died and or just betrayed them.
7. Were you engaged immediately or did it take you awhile to "get into the book"?
Oh I was engaged in the book immediately. I think I had alittle over half read in a day. Probably would have had the whole book read in a day but I have a 2 year old daughter who needs my attention also.
8. Would you recommend this book to anyone?
Heck yes I would. I think you all should read this book.
9. Is there material in this book that is not good for kids to read?
Depends on the age of the book and also what parents allow their kids to read. If you are okay with your kids reading a book that has kissing and fighting in it then this is a good book for them to read. (All there is just kissing and nothing else in that category so please remember that)
10. Where did you buy it at?
I got this book with the box set at target. But I think I have seen it at walmart, books a million and you also can buy off of amazon also.
Happy reading.
People are always asking me what I am reading and then asking what it is about. So I thought I would start a blog on the different books that I read. I mostly read romance novels but I have been trying to expand my reading material so that way I am not getting bored with one type of books. I hope you enjoy my blog and that it helps you in deciding on if you want to read a sort book or not. And if you have any suggestions for me to read feel free to leave a comment somewhere. Happy reading

The Maze Runner by James Dashner
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
about the book
Book one in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don’t miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built!
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone.
Outside the towering stone walls that surround them is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive.
Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying: Remember. Survive. Run.
The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.
